Never been on a Segway before? Well now is the perfect time to change that! Our tour starts with a personal orientation lesson that ensures that you will be safe and comfortable riding, or as we like to say, gliding on the Segway. Then it's off for a guided tour that takes a little over an hour as we glide through the Old Trail development, across wooden bridges that span trickling streams, and beside ponds that are favorites of migrating Canada geese and ducks. And don't be surprised to see other native wildlife including eagles, hawks, and even our local herd of deer! Our tours are offered throughout the day by appointment, and may accommodate up to 5 guests. Advance reservations are required, so please call ahead! Note: Due to insurance regulations and manufacturer guidelines, all tour guests must be at least 16 years of age, and must weigh between 100 & 260 Lbs. Tour guests must be able to climb and descend a 9" step without assistance. Riders under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All tour guests must sign a liability waiver, and are required to wear a helmet during the entire tour.

Many people have already discovered that Segway PT's are a fun, ultra-economical and environmentally friendly way for today's urban commuter to get around town. Through its patented self balancing technology, the Segway PT uses two parallel wheels which can move together or in opposition to each other. This means that the Segway PT can maneuver in some of the tightest areas (turning within its own length), while taking up not much more space than a person. So how does it work? Well, to move forward or backward on the Segway PT, the rider just leans slightly forward or backward. To turn left or right, the rider simply moves the LeanSteer frame left or right. You get the sense of power and speed, yet you also feel a sense of safety and absolute control. It all feels natural, safe, and in no time at all it becomes totally instinctive. It isn't so much like riding, actually many Segway owners refer to it as gliding because it is such a smooth interaction between person and machine! But, like any invention that's ahead of its time, the Segway PT is often misunderstood. The gleeful smiles of Segway PT riders may have created an impression that this is ...well...a toy.
